When you choose THOMPSON and SPRING you choose me, Isadora. I shoot exclusively on location using natural or available light. In my view both of these elements are key to creating timeless, natural portraits that you will love. My style is relaxed, modern, yet classic as I aim to capture the spirit and personalities of the individuals and families that I am honored to photograph. I am based in Los Angeles and service the area, from Beverly Hills, Brentwood, Westwood, Culver City and Santa Monica and the Westside, to Miracle Mile, Larchmont, Hancock Park, Los Feliz and Silverlake on the Eastside. I also service the Valley and the South Bay.

THOMPSON and SPRING? THOMPSON and SPRING is a junction where I lived in NYC and a place from which I draw energy and inspiration. It’s in Soho, but the quiet part of Soho with the neighborhood cafes and the cobbled streets. It captures a lot about my my aesthetic sensibilty; it’s pretty yet urban, it’s modern yet old. I don’t like things to be too perfect, but this is perfect in it’s imperfections. This is also what I appreciate in life. I like to find the magic in everyday moments, the quiet in the chaos, because that is what life is all about and that is what I try to capture for my clients.

I like to wear SILVER SHOES. I think silver is a great neutral and goes with most outfits, but adds a touch of the unexpected.

Sitting down to a DINNER WITH MY FAMILY is something I cherish. In these days of “go go go”, I find the ritual sitting down to meal with my loved ones is something that reconnects me to what is really important in life.

I laugh often and often I LAUGH LOUDLY. I am not an extrovert, nor am I an introvert, like most people I’m somewhere in between, but my laughter is uninhibited.

Eating GUMMI BEARS is my vice. Gummi bears have been my guilty pleasure since I was a child, but I don’t eat gummi bears indiscriminately, they have to be the real deal. Only Haribo gummi bears will do.

I love LAZY AFTERNOON NAPS. As a busy wife, professional and mother to a toddler napping is a rare luxury but when I get to take a nap it feels so regenerative.
