As a Los Angeles family photographer, I sometimes get asked, “‘Will you shoot in Palos Verdes? Will you shoot in Pasedena? And, most recently will you shoot in Sherman Oaks?” The answer to those questions is a resounding YES, I am a Los Angeles based photographer, so Los Angeles is my base for reaching the different parts of our wonderful and widespread community.
For my recent baby photo shoot in Sherman Oaks, I met a super sweet couple. Both of them are accountants, so they scheduled their shoot after the Tax Day on April 15, which was a super busy period for them as can be expected. Their lovely three month old baby girl had just fallen asleep when I arrived and as most photographers will tell you, a sleeping baby is a good thing. But, she woke up as soon as I started to shoot her. Fortunately she was a very easy going baby that was surprisingly interested in what I was getting up to. Older kids love to engage with me, perhaps even get a preview pic on the back of my camera… but babies as we all know are just gaining their awareness of the world around them, so it was nice that she responded to the click of my camera by looking straight into the lens.
However, since mommy is going to use pictures from this shoot for her baby announcement, I’m going to keep her portrait photos a surprise and will only show her super cute toes and fingers. Look at those fingers, so long and elegant and freshly manicured courtesy of grandma!
