In common parlance the expression “Making Time for Number One” refers to making time for oneself and after my post about taking time out to get pampered, you might think that is what I meant. But, in this case when I say number one, I mean the first born.  As a family photographer and mother, I can tell you that kids, especially toddlers, don’t always like to perform for the camera. So, when the mom of this little fairy told me, as we were planning for the session, that her little one did not like cameras, I thought I might not get the happy,...  I consider newborn shoots a real honor because this is usually such a strange and magical time for parents as they get to know their new babies, so when the parents let me into their world during this special time I always feel very privileged.  Los Angeles is physically a very diverse place, from beaches, to mountains, to forests and deserts. It’s no wonder the film industry decided to set up camp here, as every backdrop is readily available. This shoot almost didn’t take place as the family got lost on the way to the location. But persistence paid off...
