Going on a Jet Plane

My family and I are headed back home to Europe for our summer vacation to see family and friends.   I’ll be taking many pictures to share with THOMPSON and SPRING fans, but I doubt I’ll have a chance to post them while I’m there.  It will likely be an unplugging and recharging type of vacation where computers will not be a part of my daily life.

I’m looking forward to showing my son the sights and sounds of Paris, because even though he’s been twice before, this will be the first time he really understands what’s happening around him.  In order to truly unplug, we will be spending most of our time in the countryside, in a part of France known as the Perigord Noir; home to the Lascaux caves and numerous castles.

So, in the meanwhile I will just say “A bientôt”, I’ll be back August 23.
